Paw-triotic Pet Parade

Celebrate the Independence Day holiday with this festive, pet-friendly celebration, featuring strutting mutts in costume, pop-up vendors selling pet-related products and treats for humans and dogs alike.

Feel free to bring your dog to enjoy this special event outdoors. Dogs must remain outside the Lenexa Public Market unless they are certified service/support animals.

Event schedule

9 a.m. to noon: pet-themed vendors and sponsors; dog pools for pup playtime
10:45 a.m.: line up for pup-parade
11 a.m.: parade around campus and through the Lenexa Farmers Market with Grand Marshal Lexi Blue, Lenexa Police Department's comfort canine

Parking

Free parking available onsite in the Lenexa Civic campus parking garage (17201 W. 87th St. Pkwy). Enter on Winchester Street or West 88th Street. Additionally, there is public parking in the Winchester Parking garage, west side of the Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center — enter on Winchester Street.
