Join us at the Public Market as we celebrate the imaginative talents of our young creators at our Kid Makers Markets, held in the summer and during the holiday season. Discover a wonderful variety of goods crafted by local youth, and support their creative endeavors while shopping for unique, handmade items.

We will not be hosting a Summer Kid Makers Market this year. Applications for the Holiday Kid Makers Market on Dec. 5, 2026, will open on Sept. 1.

 Public Market partners with former kid maker vendors

In 2021, we collaborated with Aidan Hall and Lila and Avery O’Hara to create shirts and totes with a cheerful new design evocative of the Market’s diverse cuisine and engaging atmosphere. Most recently, in February 2024, our staff worked with Livia V. for a custom wood cover for the stovetop in The Kitchen.
