The Lenexa Public Market has held a Common Consumption Area permit under K.S.A 41-2659, et. seq. since 2017, allowing a city a city or county to establish an area where the possession and consumption of alcoholic liquor is allowed pursuant to the permit.
Blue stars painted on the sidewalks of the Common Consumption Area outline the boundary on the City Center street block. Alcohol purchased from Public Market Merchants may be consumed within this boundary.
Outside alcohol is not allowed. You may purchase alcoholic beverages from Public Market merchants licensed to sell alcohol.
