We have partnered with the Ethnic Enrichment Commission of Kansas City to celebrate the rich cultures that make our community diverse and vibrant. Shop vendors, take in live performing arts and try diverse flavors from Public Market merchants and globally inspired food trucks. This is a free event, no tickets or registration required.

Discover unique customs, view authentic artifacts up close, and shop for handcrafted items that reflect the spirit of each nation. Booths will be set up inside Lenexa City Hall (above the Main Market level).

8 a.m.–noon – Lenexa Farmers Market
Global Kitchen features a variety of pop-up restaurant concepts showcasing flavors from countries represented by the Ethnic Enrichment Commission of Kansas City. Kenya will be serving food from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. inside The Kitchen at the Public Market.

Free parking available onsite in the Lenexa Civic campus parking garage (17201 W. 87th St. Pkwy). Enter on Winchester Street or West 88th Street. Additionally, there is public parking in the Winchester Parking garage, west side of the Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center — enter on Winchester Street.
