Friday Night Sound Bites + Red Friday Football
Sept. 11, 5-10 p.m.,
Show your team spirit and wear red at this special FNSB, featuring live music by Switch in Time, appearances by the Chiefs Rumble drumline, fire show featuring Yosh the Fire Guy, KC Wolf and tailgate-worthy eats from Market merchants and food trucks.
Food Truck Frenzy: City Center
Sept. 19, 5-9 p.m.

Build-A-Buddy at Family Night
Sept. 23, 5-9 p.m.
At this special Family Night, kids can create their own brick-built animal to take home while enjoying an evening of creativity, connection and family fun. Hosted by Lenexa Parks & Recreation. Free, while supplies last.
Friday Night Sound Bites + Empanada Fest
Oct. 2, 5-10 p.m.
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a global favorite — the empanada. Discover how this beloved pastry connects cultures worldwide. This festive Friday Night Sound Bites features Latin beats by Selekto Show and authentic empanadas from local vendors.
Fire Safety Fun + Storytime at Family Night
Oct. 14, 5-7 p.m.
The Lenexa Fire Department and Lenexa City Center Library are teaming up to offer a fun, educational event for National Fire Prevention Week. Step inside a fire truck, play yard games with firefighters and enjoy a safety-themed storytime led by Lenexa Fire Chief Travis Vaughn.
Costume Contest at Family Night
Oct. 28, 5-7 p.m.
Calling all little ghosts, superheroes and pumpkins! Dress up and take part in our kid-friendly costume contest during Wednesday Family Night. Make it an evening filled with sweet treats, festive fun and Halloween excitement for the whole family. Contest prizes provided in collaboration with Made in KC.
Friday Night Sound Frights + Adult Costume Contest
Oct. 30, 7-10 p.m.
Join us for the final Friday Night Sound Bites of the year. Come in costume, enjoy live music by Cantaloupe City and enter our adult costume contest for a chance to win prizes from Made in KC.
