Nature in Every Frame: Suncatcher Crafting at Family Night: April 16

Celebrate Earth Day early by creating your own beautiful suncatcher using natural materials provided by Lenexa Parks & Recreation during Family Night on April 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. This hands-on activity invites you to craft a unique piece of art while connecting with nature.

Materials provided:
  • a variety of pressed flowers and plants
  • popsicle sticks for crafting the frame
  • string, colored cellophane, stickers and clear contact paper squares
  • tape and markers for on-site preparation
Pick up a kit on the Market floor level of the Public Market, while supplies last. This is a free activity. 


Every Wednesday is Family Night at the Lenexa Public Market from 5 to 8 p.m.
