Join us for a special cooking demonstration on Saturday, Aug. 9, during Farm to Fork week, where Lenexa Public Market merchants are crafting delicious dishes using farm-fresh ingredients sourced directly from Lenexa Farmers Market vendors.

Experience the vibrant taste of summer with Lisa Markley, AdventHealth Culinary Medicine Director and Dietitian. Lisa will demonstrate how to prepare a Summer Sweet Corn, Tomato & Peach Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette — a colorful, seasonal dish bursting with flavor and packed with nutrients, made entirely with locally grown produce.

About Farm to Fork

Attendees will receive a copy of the recipe along with expert nutrition tips to inspire fresh cooking at home.

When

Location

The Kitchen is located on the mezzanine level above the main Lenexa Public Market floor. Park in the free on-site parking garage accessible from eastbound 87th Street Parkway at either Penrose Street or Winchester Street. From the ground level, enter the Lenexa City Hall building across from the garage, near the statue of Na-Nex-Se. Once inside the lobby, head to the right.
