Get ready to experience the rich, bold flavors of Turkish cuisine — KC Doner is the newest addition to the Public Market family! While their full market stall will debut later this spring, you don’t have to wait to get a taste.

Catch their pop-up this May, every Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and enjoy a delicious preview of their Mediterranean dishes, crafted with a distinctly Turkish flair.

Dine in or carryout available. Credit or debit payments are preferred, but exact cash is also accepted.

Menu

• Baklava: Turkish dessert features flaky phyllo dough filled with a blend of semolina cream, ricotta cheese, and pistachios, drenched in a sweet syrup.
• Doner: Meat wrapped in a tortilla, onions, sumac, parsley, and tomato sauce. It can be served as a plate or a wrap.
• German-style Doner: doner meat, lettuce, red cabbage, tomatoes, onions, and house-made sauce packed into a pita bread
• Hummus: Creamy blend of chickpeas, tahini, lemon, and garlic. Drilled with olive oil and served with pita chips.
• Kisir Salad (Tabouli, Vegan/Vegetarian): A bulgur salad with fine bulgur wheat mixed with tomato paste, pomegranate molasses, parsley, a hint of spicy pepper paste, olive oil, and green onions.
• Potato Pie (Vegetarian): Milk bread around seasoned mashed potatoes, baked until golden brown.
• Red Lentil Ball (Vegan/Vegetarian): Red lentil ball with onion, bulgur wheat, olive oil, parsley, tomato, and pepper paste. Served with six balls and sauce.
• Meat Pie: Thin layers of dough wrapped around a filling of seasoned ground meat, onions, olive oil, and tomato paste then baked to golden brown.
• Pide (Vegetarian): Milk bread around cheese, tomatoes, and peppers, sesame seeds baked until golden brown.
• Spicy Pepper Roll (Vegetarian): Turkish pepper milk bread, a soft and fluffy dough infused with spicy red pepper flakes, olive oil, and aromatic herbs, is baked to golden perfection.
• Sekerpare (Semolina Cookies — Vegetarian): Soft and syrupy Turkish semolina cookies, flavored with lemon with crushed pistachio. Two pieces served.

• Turkish Coffee: Strong, unfiltered coffee brewed with finely ground beans with water (sugar available). It's known for its thick foam and sediment.

Location

KC Doner will be popping up on the main Market level in Cosmo Burger's old stall, directly across from Saap Saap Noodles. Park in the free on-site parking garage accessible from eastbound 87th Street Parkway at Winchester Street.
