The Lenexa Public Market is conveniently situated at 87th Street Parkway and Penrose Lane in Lenexa, Kansas. It occupies the lower level of Lenexa City Hall.
The Market is easily accessible from I-435. Exit I-435 from 87th Street and head west to Winchester Street. Turn left (south) onto Winchester and look for the parking garage on your left.
Holiday Hours
The Lenexa Public Market observes these holidays with the following hours:
Easter: Closed
Independence Day: open until 4 p.m.
Thanksgiving: Closed
Christmas Eve: open until 4 p.m.
Christmas Day: Closed
New Year's Eve: open until 4 p.m.
New Year's Day: open with regular business hours
Individual merchants may observe other holidays or set different holiday hours at their discretion.
Transportation and Parking
Free parking is available on street or in a 500-stall, on-site garage. Enter the garage from Winchester Street or 88th Street (via Penrose Lane). Bicycle parking is also offered.
There is a RideKC Bike hub on the trail along Winchester Street, just west of the Lenexa Rec Center.
Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi internet service is available to visitors at the Market.
ATM
An ATM is located in the northeast corner of the Public Market. UMB customers can access the ATM with no surcharge, and non-UMB customers can access the ATM for a $3 surcharge.
Pet Policy
Only service animals are welcome inside the Market. You may bring dogs to the outdoor patio, but they must be on a leash.
Please remember to clean up after your pet. A pet waste station is available on the Lower Commons patio just outside of the Market.
Our Neighborhood
The Lenexa Public Market is part of Lenexa City Center, a 200-acre, walkable, mixed-use neighborhood at 87th Street Parkway and Renner Boulevard, just west of I-435. The city envisions that this developing area will become Lenexa’s new gathering space. It will include a variety of housing, shops, offices, restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues.
The Market is on the same civic campus as Lenexa City Hall, Lenexa Rec Center, a Park University campus center, and the Lenexa City Center Library.
